Can some explain which connection is correct?
1. Dsl modem BiPAC 7401VGP with VOIP > wired to DIR825 >/ /< DAP1522
OR
2. Dsl modem BiPAC 7401VGP with VOIP > wired to > DAP1522 >/ /< DIR825
Modem would have wireless disabled so only DAP or DIR distributes IP's.
It supposed to be "easy setup", but I cannot work this out.
Is DAP or DIR after modem?
DAP is used in AP or Bridge mode? (or Auto?)
There could be only one DHCP sever, but which one that would be?
Anyone with suggestions / ideas ?

it's number 1:
modem with voip--->dir825 )) ((dap1522
dap1522 should be on bridge mode.
dhcp server would be the dir825.

What's the DNS server that your computer is getting?
-
The wireless IP setting was the same as wired.
IP was only 1 number off.
Wired IP 192.168.1.9 / 255.255.255.0 / Gate & DNS 192.168.1.254
Wireless IP 192.168.1.8 / 255.255.255.0 / Gate & DNS 192.168.1.254
Both IP's with MAC's reserved on DHCP side (Billion)

What port on the DIR-825 is your Billion connected to?
I would recommend you do this setup:
Billion ------> Numbered port of DIR-825
and NOT: Billion ------> Internet port of DIR-825

not wan to lan.
yes, LAN 1 to LAN 1.
