Title: Router bricked after a interrupted firmware upgrade
Post by: kevinx17910 on August 28, 2010, 03:20:14 AM
Hi everyone,

I tried to upgrade the firmware on my dir 825. In the middle of the process, the router restarted for some reason. After that, I lost all connection to the router. No response from pinging it neither. Now every time it powers on, the orange power light just kept flashing and my windows 7 is forever trying to identify it.

Is there any solution to this??? Any help would be awesome.

Thx in advance

Your router is dead for sure. This happened to me and Dlink support told me that the device will not longer be able to communicate. Return your router to the store or try to get a replacement thru Dlink.
