Title: DIR-655 Port Forward Support
Post by: iggy on August 29, 2010, 07:53:38 PM
I run Windows 7 with IIS 7.5/PHP/MySql I have DIR-655 as virtual server settings enabled. While I go away I'd like to use Internet cam TP-Link to monitor equipment occasionally. I am looking for explicit help in configuration so I don't have to hack away with very limited documentation and knowledge on topic.

Under Advanced>Port forwarding what should the settings be to access the camera. Address of the camera over LAN is 192.168.0.10 over port 1024 while IIS 7.5 is 192.168.0.199 port 80

What I have now: Is this correct? Or should I use Computer IP still since software is on that? Local program works on 192.168.0.10/index.htm so I assume that address

NAME: Camera
IP ADDRESS: 192.168.0.10
TCP: 1024
UDP: 1024 (???)

Also should I turn off virtual server on port:80?

I chose to return internet camera because it did not come adequately documented  and vendor has a short return policy. Manual is next to useless.TP_LINK blew me off when I asked for correct setting and never sent email.
