Title: Read the 300mbps sticky, but still stuck at 270?
Post by: JL6speed on September 02, 2010, 03:52:54 PM
I've done everything on that sticky above all the posts, but I can only achieve a rate of 270mbps. How do I hit the 300mbps? I've got an Intel 6300 which should be able to.

I think you have to take the mode from auto 20/40 to 40 only if your Intel card supports that mode. I've tried on my Mac Book pro and can't do it.

My 6300 only has 20 or Auto. Well this sux lol. I ordered another antenna cuz right now I'm only using 2 from the existing 5100. I'll see if that does anything. But I managed to get it to stablize at 270 rate at least.
