Title: SOLVED: How to allow access from other subnets?

We have a DNS-323 on 192.168.0.xxx acting as a server for an app in which users map L:\ to it. All users on the 192.168.0.xxx subnet work fine. The DNS-323 is at 192.168.0.191, actually.

Remote offices now have a VPN tunnel to the location, showing up for example as 192.168.1.xxx et cetera. These users do not see the DNS - can't ping it, can't map it... nada.

Is there a way to set the DNS-323 to allow either specific subnets or "any" subnet?

The DNS-323 WILL allow a connection from ANY ip address that it receives, provided that it has a gateway setting - without this it will only respond to requests from addresses in the same subnet, as it will not know how to route the response.

That was it - turned out they had the gateway set, but not to the VPN, it was set to a wireless router they use to give Deputies access when they walk in.
