Title: Streamlined Settings.
Post by: Slimshiesty on September 09, 2010, 07:04:25 PM
Hello Gang,

New member here, and trying to get some info for streamlining my settings, for the way i use the internet.

Im looking for people that use Comcast, and stream live tv, plus play online games such as WoW.

Right now i have a DGL-4500 A1 w/1.22 FW.

When im online, surfing the web, no probs, as soon as i try streaming, i get regular disconnects.
w/ no reconnects.

I have bypassed the router with no problems.
Hoping someone can shed some light on the settings for a more stable connection.

So if someone has a list of settings or can direct me to a post with settings i might want to try, it would be much appreciated.

Check out the gaming and gamefuel sticky. This is what I use and works great. Just watch netflix last night. Let us know how it goes.

Ok, checked out the required threads, including LookIntoMyEyes thread for the PS3.
I like what i have so far, and i did not have any disconnects when streaming NCAA Football this morning.

Granted i only watched for about 30mins, usually in that amount of time i would have 3-5.

Make sure you save off your current configuration to file on the 4500 so you can reload it later or if something happens you can go back to it. One thing I like about the ability to save the configurations.
