Saw over on the DNS-323 forum that there's a "Supported HDs" topic:

Could we get a sticky for the supported HDs for the DNS-321? I'm currently shopping for 2TB drives and it seems like a minefield these days with the newer 4K WD drives not being supported and bad reviews I've seen on the 2TBs from Seagate. I'm currently leaning towards using a Hitachi drive or a Samsung F4.
A list similar to the DNS-323's posting would be helpful and if it also had a column denoting what firmware level is needed to support the drive listed, that would be great. Would be nice if the list could be community maintained, but don't know if you can allow topics to be revised Wiki-style.

I am currently using Seagate 2TB drives on my Dlink 321 with no problems.
