Recently configured the router for WPA2-Personal (previously had it set up with WEP without any issues but wanted higher data transfer speeds). Everything is working well, getting great speed connections, except every couple of hours (appears random), the computer connected by wireless disconnects and then approximately 5 - 15 seconds reconnects. Typically not a big deal, however if in the middle of a download, etc., the disconnect causes that to fail also.
The log reads: 17:21:15 Wireless system with MAC Address 001b11e96d7d disconnected for reason: Received Deauthentication.
Then, in this case, 5 seconds later:
The log reads: 17:21:20 Wireless system with MAC Address 001b11e96d7d associated.
Using a DLink 615 Router and DLink DWA 130 wireless USB adapter. The OS is Windows Vista Ultimate. I have the firmware version posted in December upgraded to the router.
The DHCP lease still has 4 days left until it expires and the machines are not associated specifically (at least not manually) by MAC address. If anyone can give me an idea on how to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Not sure if this applies to you, but you should check your firewall. I have Norton 360 which was blocking my DIR-615 but letting thru my older 11g router. Turned out the 360 firewall module was blicking my SSID on the DIR-615. I redid the SSID to the same as my 11g router and all seems to work now.

There is also a patch from Microsoft for that.
Here
KB893357

I had a similar problem it turned out that I had the old wep on the old SSID & the new wpa-2 on the new SSID. The old SSID was the same as the new SSID except that I capitalized the first letter.
After reading this blog I deleted the old SSID and that fixed the problem.
