Title: 2TB Drive Support
Post by: cdkone on September 18, 2010, 06:40:46 PM
Are the Seagate 2TB ST32000542AS drives supported. Can anyone recommend 2TB drives they are using successfully?

Thanks

I am planning on getting the same drives for DNS-321. Have you gotten them to work?

Blindly I bought two 2T WD drives and luckily they work.   #WD20EADS - SATA

I'm running 2 different brand 2TB drives in a RAID1 configuration.  I had difficutly setting up RAID1 - i.e. it formated both drives.  But seems to be running well.

Here are the model numbers from a disk test from the DNS.

Manufacturer: Seagate
Model: ST32000542AS
Size: 2000 GB

Manufacturer: Hitachi
Model: HDS722020ALA330
Size: 2000 GB
