Title: Changing Lan IP
Post by: ken1943 on September 21, 2010, 08:10:26 AM
Getting DSL and the modem uses the same web access IP, 192.168.0.1. If I change the dlink lan ip to 192.168.10.x will this also change the the web access ip address ?

Routers have to have a "static" LAN IP address "set up" / "assigned" to it.  This will then become the "default" gateway "access" IP address for your PCs.  The WAN port IP address is controlled by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) provided info.
