Title: Oracle database behind DFL-860
Post by: silver_surfer30 on September 28, 2010, 02:00:26 AM
Dear all,

I need to replace a symantec software firewall with DFL-860.
On this network an oracle database farm is running.
I redirect the port 1521 on the DFL-860 and then also allow all port to the oracle prive IP using the SLBSAT action.

Obviously I can see the connections open when my oracle client try to access the database. But we receive on the client machine a mesage "can not resolve tns database name".

So I cheque the symantec configuration and notice that there is a SQLNET proxy and in there it specify the oracle database. Can we set up the same this configuration on DFL-860 ?
