Title: Windows 7 prints partial page- then print error

When I print a page from my Sony Vaio VGN-N250N, it always prints part of the page, then errors out. I tried changing to LPR - didn't help.
This happens on print from Firefox or just Print test page.
Printer is HP PSC-1310. DPR-1260 firmware version is 1.12.

I had the same problem with Vaio VGN-NS31S and Epson DX3800 and Win7 32b.
Everithing went fine before on Win Vista.

Disabling the spooler in the advanced properties tab (selecting "directly send to the printer") solved my issue.
(Before this I had to set a static ip and to do a manual installation of the printer )
