Since the Dap 1522 is a gigabyte bridge does the router also need to be a gigabyte router?


I have a Linksys wrt160Nv2 but its 10/100 not 10/100/1000

No, the 1522 works just fine with 10/100 routers, as well as 802.11g wireless devices.
