Just picked up a new modem... SB6120 Docsis3.
After setting it up through comcast, my link light was blue, indicating 1000Mbps connection.
Set-up was ran through a Belkin F7D3301 router that i had picked up, but the wireless connection speeds were crap, so reverted back to the 4500.
After setting up the 4500 as the router for my system, the light has changed to amber, indicating 100Mbps connection.
Do i need to reauthorize the modem through comcast to get this working again, or is there a simple solution through the router that i am not aware of ?
Thanks in advance !

shouldn't have to do anything accept maybe check the connection speeds on the 4500 and make sure it's set for auto. I have the same modem and 4500 and I've got the steady blue light and blinkin lite for activity. All others are green. Make sure your cables are good. shortest between the modem and router is preferred. Mine is a 1 footer. Hehe.

What tab would the the "auto connection" be ?

Please disregard the questions, i found i had a bad cable in the mix, changed the cable with a known good cable, and everything is fine.
Thanks again

Good to hear. ;)

Just FYI, that does NOT mean your getting 1000Mb down. The gigabyte connection for anything but LAN is completly useless at this point in time. Does make it look cool to have the blue light though aye? Your connection speed has more to do with throughput then connection rate. Its the equivalent of painting on some 0's on your car's speedmeter.
