Can any one tell me how to set up the dlink to open ports for yahoo voice, i guess i have to open ports because the dlink router is blocking the **** out of voice.. now do you open a port or ports in APPLICATION RULES or the ADD GAMING RULE Tab and open ports that way .. help me out here please

What do you mean its blocking the *****? As in its slowing it down or actually blocking it? If its slowing it down, then you don't need to open the ports, for if they werent open it wouldnt work at all. You might need to add a Gamefuel to override a incorrect classification of the VOIP traffic. Application rules and gaming rules is if its working intermittently or not at all. But that could be caused by other things too. What do the logs say?

intermittently yes but then it just stop working and i get no voice at all the dlink router is blocking the voice ports..66.163.169.186:443 or port 5000 etc etc i dont know why it works then it just stops working.. and if i open a port how safe is that having open ports?

You have open ports all the time. 80 is open to view this very page. Opening ports aren't a security risk. Its just people who open ALL their ports to all traffic, to all IP's on the net..then that starts being a issue. 443 is for DNS. So it looks like your router is blocking a DNS relay. You may want to turn it off and enter in your DNS manually. Or set up a forwarding rule

443 is for DNS
5000 is for UPnP
5010 is for Yahoo Voice chat
But if you notice, its from a private IP to a private IP. So its being blocked at your WAN. You shouldnt have to forward those ports. I mean if you had to forward the port for UPnP, that would be totally against the point. LOL. Do you have a second router? Or using DSL?
