Title: DIR-615 - Can't achieve n speeds (300mps)
Post by: pja51 on October 21, 2010, 04:17:00 AM
I've just purchased a Lenovo Thinkpad Edge-14 Laptop (Type 0199 - 23A).  I can access the router with no problem, but not a the n speed, no matter what I try.  I can get 65 mps with the wireless bandwidth on the router set to 20 MHz, and 120 mps if I set the wireless bandwidth to 20/40 MHz.

On the other hand, I have a Compaq Armada m700 using a PCMMCIA DIR-645 n adapter, and it's always connected @ 300 mps.

I've been with Lenovo Tech support, and they haven't seen any issues like this from any owners.  Any ideas?

Thanks,
- Butch
