Title: Starting Media Server as a Windows Service in Vista
Post by: SSEliot on April 12, 2008, 10:02:17 PM
Is it possible to start the Media Server software as a Windows Service during computer start-up?  I know this is possible using other software clients such as TwonkyVision and Tversity.  Currently i open the D-Link Media Server in my Startup group causing the GUI to be closed manually after every start-up.

I've heard FireDaemon works works pretty good.

"Install and Run Any Application Program as a Windows Service!"

The only way to run the D-Link media server software as a Windows services would be to use such software as FireDaemon as Skeil909 explained.
