Title: My DIR-685 loosing throughput gradually from 100Mbit to 40Mbit
Post by: Excerion on November 06, 2010, 10:52:36 AM
I'm using DMZ, SPI and UPnP but I've also tried disabling them for diagnostic purposes. But all that accomplishes is that the throughput loss takes a bit longer. So instead of going from 100Mbit to 40-45Mbit in like 10mins, it takes about 30 mins. QoS is disabled so that's not the issue here and i'm using firmware 2.00_patch03. But i had the same problem with the original firmware (1.0) (which was the reason i upgraded to 2.0_patch03 in the first place)

Anyone with some suggestions on what to do next?

Edit: forgot to mention that throughput never gets below 40Mbit for some reason.

Had the exact same problem with mine:

Got a replacement from the shop I bought it and it had the same problem.
Returned it again today and I'm buying a netgear.
I've had this problem over a month, wrote to DLink directly and made a case. DLink has never replied to me.
