does somebody know how many physical antennas does the 685 have?
i read in other forum that the 802.11N needs at least two to get up to 300mbbs, with one you cann get only the half. that is to allow the best MIMO.

is there a way to measure the capacity of the wlan?
is just to see the impact of the firmwares on the wlan performance...

If you want to test out the signal, I use:
inSSIDer 2.0
There are many WiFi scanner but I prefer inSSIDer
This software can be used to detect the dB of the WiFi in any room, also help what channel to use.
To test the speed just do a benchmark on speed transfer, similar to

i have installed inssider 2 but i cannot start the gps!
were can i find the parameters?
have win 7...

er GPS is Global Positioning System used to track your location, at the far right there is a button called 'Start' ::)
