Title: wlan antennas dir-685
Post by: stukka on November 13, 2010, 07:09:57 AM
does somebody know how many physical antennas does the 685 have?
i read in other forum that the 802.11N needs at least two to get up to 300mbbs, with one you cann get only the half. that is to allow the best MIMO.

stukka: No problem  ;D
If you want to test out the signal, I use:
inSSIDer 2.0
There are many WiFi scanner but I prefer inSSIDer

This software can be used to detect the dB of the WiFi in any room, also help what channel to use.

To test the speed just do a benchmark on speed transfer, similar to
