Okay, I just had to use that emoticon/smiley as it is the way I feel about the router. I bought it back when it had revision 1.00 firmware and it had been working flawlessly up until last week. My Mom was attempting to get online, and couldn't find the wireless network that was assoicated with the router. I was surprised when my laptop connected via ethernet couldn't get on.
Upon more thorough investigation I noticed that the DHCP wasn't working, and I could not access the router's OS or configuration whatsoever. Now, the indicator lights on the front would come on and flash and indicate when a cable was connected but nothing more. I have tried to reset the router countless times.
Now, I did go out and by a replacement router (Belkin N Vision), but I'm hoping to get my beloved D-Link router up and running. It is a wonderful piece of equipment. Please, any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

ouch. sounds like your router soft bricked itself.
if you can't access the router's config panel using the 192.xxx IP address, you may need to do the 30-30-30 reset
1. when the unit is powered on, hold down its reset button for 30 seconds
2. while still holding down the reset button, unplug the router from power and hold for an additional 30 seconds
3. still holding down the reset button, turn on power to the router again and hold for 30 more seconds

Thank you for such a quick response.
Sadly, I just tried it and it didn't work. I even tried it twice.
