Title: Need help finding Installation files on support forum
Post by: valid8r on November 25, 2010, 09:45:09 AM
I've lost the install CD with the wizard and was hoping to download the files, but can't find them in the support area for my DIR-615.  I realize I don't need them necessarily to configure, but it would ease my mind if I could use the wizard.

Where should I be looking?

Thanks,
Jon

Hi Jon,

You need to select which Hardware Revision you have.

Also you can call D-Link Support to obtain a replacement, if you Router is Registered.

The install CD is not needed.  Locate the user guide from the D-Link site.  The install "software" is just a "version" of the "Network Major" style of software.  It does absolutely nothing you can not do with a manual configuration steps.
