I'm using an HP laptop running windows 7 and D-Link has 1.34NA firmware. With shareport enabled, and printer plugged in to the USB port, I can see my printer as expected. When I send a Word file, the printer starts and immediately stops and all the lamps flash on the printer and an E is displayed on the printer.
I've downloaded the latest HP printer software and D-Link software.
My wireless connections to the internet work fine.
If I connect the printer directly to the USB port on my PC using the same cable, it prints fine.
I have another HP wireless all-in-one set up on my PC and it works fine.
The USB port connection to the F380 printer used to work fine before I upgraded to Win 7.
I downloaded HP's diagnostic utility 4.0. It says everything is ok and the utility test page prints fine.
Any ideas?? Thank you, Peter

I'm having a similar issue. My Canon HP printer starts to print, then stops after ~ 10 lines or so, and then everything hangs. My windows 7 laptops were working okay, but now all the wireless laptops experiencing same behavior.

Sounds like it worked before you said you upgraded to windows 7. Make sure all drivers for your LAN and Wireless is updated correctly from there OEM sites.
Make sure that your networking is set up correctly. I would try and use Static IP address reservations. instead of DCHP on the router. Make sure all devices are auto networking after you set up Static IPs on the router.
If it worked before you upgraded to 7, then I would presume something about 7 is not setup correctly.

What wireless mode are you using? Mixed? Try single more G or N to test? Then try mixed G and N?

go buy a small usb print server for your printer and save LOTS of headaches.
Shareport is an interesting idea that seems pretty erratic at best...especially with windows 7 x64.....
