Title: Standard Setup Question
Post by: walterp on November 29, 2010, 03:41:12 PM
I have 6 DAP-2553's that I have connected to the same router, via a few switches in between. They are spread over 3 floors, with 2 devices per floor. I configured the SSID to be the same on all 6 Access-points, WPA-Personal authentication, WPA mode: AUTO (WPA or WPA2). Set them up 2 months ago and they worked like fine. 2 weeks ago, some sporadically stopped working. From the event viewer of the notebook, it appeared that DHCP wasn't working. I connected the notebook directly to the port that the AP was connected to and the notebook got an IP address without a problem.
What is the best way to configure all 6 DAP-2553?

I find it easier to use static IP addresses for all of my wireless access points.
