It's a new product, but it's out now (I have one).
Maybe a Mod can create a new Forum? I don't have any immediate problems, but right now I have nowhere to post about it.

I second that. ;D
Actually, I have a problem playing the mkv files into my Samsung DLNA UA32C5000 Led TV. :(
Samsung PC share manager seems ok when playing mkv's.
I have the latest firmware for LED TV & the stock firmware (as it is very new) for DNS 320.
Can somebody help?
Thanx

D-Link seems to be behind the curve on this one. The D-Link site (U.S.) doesn't even list the DNS-320 as a product offering.

Yup, i just got one of these and would like to know where the built-in BitTorrent client that they advertise is located. It was one of the reasons I bought it and it's nowhere to be seen. :(

Under the login page -> after you enter your username & password -> click "Applications". You'll be able to see P2P downloads.
If only D-link will improved the native UPnP AV (DLNA) server on the DNS-320 to support thumbnails & can play mkv files in my SAMSUNG 2010 C series TV sets. That would be great. ;D
I would be hopeful also if they can include chapter search, rewind and fast forward. ;)
If this will be done, then I don't have to rely on fun_plug anymore. :D
Thanx in advance.

Thanks, I found it, can't believe I missed itin the 1st place. Next problem is copying files from the internal drives to the USB drive I have connected because the DNS-320 wont grant write access to the USB drvice.

What file format is your USB drive? If it's NTFS, it only supports read-only.
-
DNS-320 has not been launched in the US territory and as such is not supported, currently. Once we launch the product and can properly support it a forum will most likely be opened.

Yes it is NTFS, that will be the problem, pain in the ass that. :(

Why is this? Surely as customers that have paid for a product that has been launched we deserve technical support?

This is a North American Only support forum. People post here from all over the world because it is the only one open but it is only supported by D-Link North America and as such we can only support products we have launched here.

Looking forward to the U.S. launch of the DNS-320. I was close to buying a 321 but decided to hold out for the 320.

Love the way D-Link have released the product without a compatible drive list. Actually there is not much at all in the way of information on the support site. Anyone's guess if 4K sector drives are compatible.

hello
i just got a dns-320 as a christmas gift. i'm a mac user and have everything working except time machine.
i've followed all of the instructions in the web based manager to enable time machine, choose a volume and enable afp but it doesn't work. no available drive displays in time machine even thought the volume is mounted. i'm starting to get frustrated with this and am thinking about returning it to get a synology unit.
any help would be great.

I just purchased a new 320 and new Samsung 1TB F3 Spinpoint to add to my 2 year old spinpoint.
I know the old drive worked but did come out of a crashed system. I had to fixmbr and fixboot before the DNS would process it correctly, but it basically failed the raid 1 as degraded error. It also would not sync beyond 1%. I swapped L & R sides to confirm it was not the DNS box.
I just submitted a RMA to Samsung to swap the old drive for new one.
I will post again, when the drive is replaced in about a month.
