Title: Too many active sessions on UDP port 500 make the router unusable
Post by: kinect on December 06, 2010, 12:03:54 PM
Just bought DIR655, and found the router needs a reboot every one or two hours to recover internet connection. I only do regular web browsing, no bittorrent. The router currently only connects to one computer.

While checking the log, I found packets are dropped because no new session can be created. Then I checked active internet session, and found there are a ton of live sessions open on UDP port 500. To make things worse, timeout of these sessions are 12 hours!!!!! No wonder all session slots have been used up.

Anyone knows how to configure the timeout of the UDP session?
