Title: Why I can't get 300 mbps?
Post by: sbi on December 10, 2010, 06:26:21 PM
I have two brand new HP laptops with wireless N adapter. I am only seeing 167 mbps on each one of them. Why can I not get 300 mbps?

Yes, I did. So the adapter has to be a D-Link adapter? I don't get it. Why is it? What is the difference between D-Link adapter and my N Adapter?

I have an HP DV7-3178 with a built in Broadcom 43225 802.11b/g/n and I get 300 mbps with a dir-655 v1.21NA

What is your adapter ?
