Perhaps not a question for this forum if this issue is malware related, but since I am using a DIR655, thought it a reasonable place to start.
I've just noticed that the router WISH status is showing hundreds of sessions from my only wireless PC to the router (port 4444). The wireless PC originating port is cycling through ports from 1025 to 5000.
The protocol is TCP, and the state is usually 'CL' and priority BE(L), although I did find two sessions to port 9393 that were established at the time the log was displayed.
What might be causing these cycling connections? AVG 2011 free indicates the PC is clean.
How can I investigate what is creating these sessions? (possibly around a hundred every minute) netstat offered no real clues, neither did google
