Title: DNS-323 is the most unreliable product I have had for a long time !! (UPDATE)
Post by: Dr.Net on December 12, 2010, 12:34:14 PM
This stupid device I bought for only one reason which is to be a torrent server and apparently it is not able
to do so somehow !
the BitTorrent was install and everything was fine actually less than fine because it also sucks as a torrent
server but i bought it so i have to live with it
but as of today it suddenly dose not have the BitTorrent installed in the applications part and when I checked the adds-on it was not there so apparently in uninstalled itself and when I tried to install it it gave me install was successful but when i check the applications it is not there and when i go back to check the adds-on it also was not there.
I had only the torrent program installed on it
I really regret getting this device and i think i will not buy anything else from d-link

UPDATE:
HERE IS A VIDEO SHOWING THE CONDITION http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQdgxVC53bw (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQdgxVC53bw)

In most instances its easier to blame the product rather than admit user error the 323 actually functions very well when the user tells it what to do so go ahead and blame the 323 when in fact its the user error if it makes it easier to sleep at night

Not the best way to get other users to try and help you out.

What firmware version?
Did you try a factory reset?

I'd suggest installing fonz' fun-plug and Transmission, but then you'll have no one else to blame (besides yourself, that is).

I did not see you try a factory reset in the video as dosborne suggested.
