Title: Printing from Iphone through my DNS323 network printer
Post by: Djay on December 15, 2010, 02:07:13 PM
OK - So after years of saying ill never buy an Iphone they finally got the hook in me with iphone 4.

So i wanna be able to print from my iphone. I have an Canon MP620 hooked up to my DNS 323 via cable. Is there somehow to get my iphone finding and using this printer?

I would rather not go from the cable setup to wireless set up if i can get around it.

Help is appreciated.

Regards,
Djay

Your main problem might be the driver situation. If your IPhone doesn't have a standard driver for basic functions via (W)LAN, you have a problem.

I tested printing via Bluetooth (Epson PX701W with a generic USB BT adapter). If your printer does have an USB host port and supports an optional BT USB adapter, try it.
(Mini-) USB BT adapter's aren't that expensive these days.
