I have a few folders created in the root directory of my DNS-323 and was wondering if there is a way to delete them?
If i share them out and then delete, the share gets deleted, but folders stay.

This is one I can answer
Set up your admin user in ftp for root access
FTP in as admin
CD Volume_1
ls -l (to see directories)
RMDIR the folder you want to delete.
Or simply download WINScp, a free FTP client
Hope this helps
Tim
You can Telnet in, but be very very careful

got it!
I used FAR as my FTP Client. http://www.farmanager.com/
Thanks
Also when I created a new user and allowed access to the root folder, the user didn't show up under
FTP ACCESS LIST, but I was able to log in as delete the folders.

You also don't have to use FTP. Create a share in the DNS 323's web interface to Volume_1 or Volume_2, access the share/mount it and delete the folders.
