Title: Xbox Live
Post by: nolefan904 on December 16, 2010, 08:28:26 PM
I just received my DIR-655 on Wednesday, and I can't seem to get my xbox live to work properly. I upgraded from my Netgear WGR614 v7 and the dir-655 doesn't seem to give me the same connection speed. With my Netgear, I would be able to get 4 bars and HD with Netflix and ESPN.  I just plugged the netgear back in and both applications seem to be working fine again.  Now, I can only get one bar for each.  I have tried forwarding ports and using the QOS interface (I used the setup found on the DGL-4500 board, but nothing seems to be able to fix the problem.

What is your ISP service? DSL or Cable?

How are you connecting? Wireless or Wired for gaming?

I am using Comcast internet over a wired connection. And I also forgot to say that the version is B1 with 2.00NA.

I would review the sticky's over on the 4500 forum and enter in some of this information into the QoS engine on this router.

Might ask routernoob for additional info as he's just told me this info has helped him get going on this router.
