Title: DIR-655 Channel Selection

I currently have a DIR-655 Ver A4 and use a Hawking 300N range extender. Set up works fine until DIR detects interference on the selected broadcast channel and automatically switches to available clear channel. This prevents extender from communicating with the DIR and I have to physically reconfigure the setup until the next time the DIR resets the broadcast channel.

Is there any way to fix the DIR broadcast channel and turnoff the automatic clear channel feature? Or, is there a wireless extender that would automatically detect the change and reset to the new channel without having to be reconfigured?

setup>wireless setting

Scroll down to manual wireless network setup

Uncheck enable auto channel scan

Pick the channel you want.

Thank you. Don't know how I missed that option every time through that screen.
