Hello,
i have an
DI-524
P/N:EI524EEU..B4G
S/N:DY07366005128
H/W ver. :B4
F/W ver. :2.04
FCC-ID : KA2DI524G
i have the following problem :
upon logging in to the DI-524 web interface it asks for login-details twice.
then if you want to upgrade the firmware and press Apply it asks for login-details every 2 sec .
my Firmware Version: V2.06 , Mon, May 07 2007
got 2 question's :
it there a way to fix this problem (even Jtag , i have it)
i have compiled the GPL source into a firmware and was trying to flash it when i stumbled upon this problem so if there are any other means to do the firmware upgrade (TFTP , FTP , TELNET ,custom utility from Dlink, ...)

Did you find any solutions for this problem. I also have a DI 524 router and want to upgrade the firmware. Also i have a german router and i am unable to change the language or Wifi password.

Try using IE11 in compatibility mode.
You might be best off getting into a new and more optimal and secure router. The DI series is EOL and no longer supported.
