Title: limewire not working with the DIR-655.

Can someone tell me how to unblock limewire cuz its not working after i installed a DIR-655 at home.

The only thing you have to do with the DIR-655 is enable UPnP (I believe its enabled by default).  I too thought the 655 was preventing Limewire from working but I later found out that it was an outdated Gnutella file that was causing the problem.  Follow the steps in the following thread for the resolution:

Limewire 4 on the Mac stopped working when I moved to the DLink DIR-655. I tried the steps to fix Limewire directly, but it still doesn't work saying there is most likely a firewall blocking Limewire.

The rest of the Internet works...it is just Limewire.

Any other suggestions about what is making the router blocking Limewire?

wasn't limewire shut down several months back for various law breaking judgements ?
