I have used a DGL-4500 with our laptops at home for months now. The laptops receive the standard wireless g/b signal from the router. I just got a DWA-543 wireless N adapter for one laptop. Does the DGL-4500 transmit Wireless N, g & b at the same time or do I have to switch the router settings to wireless N for the DWA-643 Wireless N adapter? If I have to switch the router to transmit a wireless N signal then my other laptop that uses wireless g/b won't receive a signal as it can't read wireless N.

connect to the router as admin:
go to basic/wireless/802.11 mode and select mixed g and n mode from the dropdown.
You can mix n and g clients.
