Title: DGL-4300 + DWL-7100AP
Post by: rsshnry on June 10, 2008, 05:39:22 PM
I've been successfully using the DGL-4300 for ~6 months in my home.  The only problem I've experienced is a weak signal in the area of the house furthest away from the 4300.  I decided to try an access point to try to extend the range and bought a DWL-7100.  I've spent ~about a week trying to get the two of them to work together and haven't been successful.  In fact I'm not sure the 7100 is actually working correctly.  It powers up, and I can get into the web based admin tool and make changes but it doesn't seem to be detecting/connecting with any of the computers/wireless devices in my home.  So:

1) How can I tell if the 7100 is operating correctly?
2) If it's operating correctly, how can I get it to work with the 4300?

Thanks,

Russ
