Title: DNS-321 difference
Post by: chuckv on June 11, 2008, 05:11:58 PM
hi DLink,

just curious as to your new line called the 321. what is the difference between that unit and the 323? or is it as simple as the 323 redesigned?

cheers

One thing I noticed is the DNS-321 does not have a USB port (no print server?)
and it comes with a "scandisk" feature

If you read the DNS-323 specs, it comes with a scandisk feature too.  ::)

Can't seem to find it though.   ;)

Cheers!

in respect to generic functionality, very little difference.. unless you concider printer port a HUGE thing and scandisk, but the scandisk can be argued for an against

due to this, this may not warrant (for me) a change to this newer model even if i did have the spare cash at hand to do so

The DNS-321 is basically the same as the DNS-323 except for there is no USB port (no print server) and does not support BitTorrent.

Wow..... $50 price difference for only hardware difference being no USB port? I guess I can forget getting another 323, and just pick up a 321.... save some green.
