Title: Configuring Harmony remote to control DSM-750
Post by: tpyke on June 29, 2008, 02:23:47 AM
Have any of you done this? I tried to set it up, but I couldn't find the category that would include the 750's model number....

The 550....but I just got home and checked my emails and someone on another forum clued me in on this...I had to go under the "computer" section of the setup program to find the Media Center sub-section. Hope this info helps out anyone else with the same problem!

I know this is an older topic, but perhaps my hint will help folks who have the same question.

As far as I know, the Media Center Extender interface (not the MediaLounge interface) uses the same remote control signals as a standard Microsoft Media Center remote control. So, if you have problems configuring your Logitech remote to control the DSM-750, pretend the DSM-750 is just a Vista Media Center PC. This will load the correct codes into the remote.
