Title: DIR-825 guest zone not working (using it downstream)
Post by: hiflyerx on January 05, 2011, 03:43:32 PM
Good Day,

I'm in an older house and have a DIR-655 in the basement as the main router (DHCP on).

I have an DIR-825 on the main floor as a secondary (DHCP off):
655-> LAN Port 1 out.... into LAN Port 1 of the 825

Everything is working fine except for the Guest Zone on the 825 - it doesn't seem to be working.

I do get internet access when connected to the secured wireless off the 825 though.

As it's an old house, there is almost no wireless signal between floors, hence the multiple routers :(

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Much thanks,

Funny I was working on this into the weeeee hours of the night and I could not get it going either. I woke up and thought I would check this forum. If you get it resolved please let me know and I will do the same.
