Title: Help! Can not make changes in router due to some wierd error
Post by: DFL800_noob on January 05, 2011, 07:37:13 PM
Hey all,

I came across two routers where I can not save and activate changes because of the following error

Unable to determine new IP address, you need to manually determine the new IP address and enter it into the Web browser.

How do I resolve this? The router has a static address defined. What is this error referring to?

Any help would be appreciated

I had this type of message when sometime configure my wan interface in pppoe or dhcp client.

What you need to do is to retype the public IP in your browser and validate.

Juste be sur that the webui validation time out is not too short..
