Title: Firmware 1.20 and XBOX Live
Post by: espressoman on July 27, 2008, 06:19:29 PM
Since upgrading my DIR-655 to 1.20, I've been having all sorts of issues connecting to XBOX Live. My 360 has a static IP set, and had set up port forwarding rules so XBOX Live isn't NAT'ing, thus better connections. No problems with previous versions, but as soon as I upgrade to 1.20, I've been having a lot of trouble getting on XBOX Live. Disabled the Port Forwarding and changed static IP of the 360 finally got me on, but even doing that I have spotty connectivity. Any ideas?

Do you have UPnP enabled?

Yes. UPNP is on. I'm assuming that UPNP will open the ports for XBL, thus I was causing a conflict with my port forwarding.

I'll have to test. Please accurately describe all symptoms.
