Title: 1.04 to 1.05 reformat?

I understand that in previous FW upgrades the drives need to be reformatted.  I have 1.04 and want 1.05, but I'm concerned about whether a reformat is REQUIRED after upgrading? 

Please advise...

If you upgraded the firmware and the device is working you do not need to format your drives. In some instances it will ask you to format when you try to access the web configuration after and update on some drives. That is why it is recommended to back you data before upgrading your firmware on the DNS-323.
