Title: Read EXT Drive on Windows Machine
Post by: Weewtow on January 17, 2011, 01:34:11 PM
Does anyone know the best way to read an ext formated drive on a windows machine?  I want to remove the drive from the DNS-321 and put it in a USB drive housing.  It does not look like windows has native support for the format.  Thank you.

http://www.ext2fsd.com/ (http://www.ext2fsd.com/) is what you need. I'd suggest mounting the drive as read only to avoid any accidents.
