Title: Any New Firmware - Reason to Upgrade?
Post by: thecreator on September 09, 2008, 01:20:55 PM
Hi All,

Question: Is there a reason to upgrade to Firmware 1.20 or beyond, if Firmware 1.11 version is working fine for the User?

What are the reasons to Upgrade?

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

If you really need the guest access, you might try 1.20. Otherwise stay with 1.11

^ I agree.  Leave it alone if it's working fine.  I just posted about my experience with 1.2, and now I'm back to 1.1 and everythings fine.

Hi Matteo,

I am using Wireless to my matching DWA-552 D-Link PCI card and having no issues. This is a Desktop Computer going through 3 Walls or more directly as the Bird flys.

I have not lost connection.

I updated to 1.20 because of a lan party I was going to host... couldn't get online with the router, went back to 1.11 set up an open wireless for the lan party and it worked fine.
