Title: DGL-4300 FW 1.9 INTEL 3945ABG compatibility
Post by: Reinvented on September 10, 2008, 04:09:04 PM
Noticed that there was an update for the 4300, 1.9 FW on the support site.  Not the games.dlink.com

In the changelog, there's nothing about the 3945ABG compatibility, or if it addresses the issues of dropping the connections and re-authenticating.

I'm curious as to if this was fixed, or even included in this firmware, since it was fixed in 1.8.

I've seen issue happen with other routers when using this WiFi adapter. I found that updating the drivers fixes it every time.

You can get them here from the Intel site. http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product_Filter.aspx?ProductID=2259 (http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product_Filter.aspx?ProductID=2259)

I have the same exact issue explained, and I can tell you the drivers *don't* fix it every time.  I'm running the latest "12.2.0.11" intel drivers and I still constantly have the problem.  I've had this problem since 1.7.  Before that I had machines with different nic's, so I can't confirm a problem before that.
