The Hard Drive Info screen for my DNS-321 says the "Right" drive is abnormal.  Would this be the drive on the right side when facing the front of the unit?

Like the subject says...

Should be.

Not such a stupid question, on the DNS-323 SDA is on the right and SDB left.
