Title: [SOLVED] DNS address
Post by: juanjo on January 27, 2011, 02:09:36 AM
Hello:

A simple question.

I have using one ADSL Router. In that schema for the computers the local gateway ip and the local DNS ip are the local IP of the Router.

Now I have another provider. Cablemodem + DFL-210. In this schema the local gateway address is the local IP of the lan interface, but DNS must be now the dns of the WAN interface, no the ip of the lan interface.

Why ?
How Can i configure my local network with the gateway ip and DNS ip as lan ip interface?

Regards
