I bought this card today. Before I open it I wanted a second opinion on whether it would work on 64-bit Windows 2008 OS? The guy at the store said yes since it is supported in Vista 64-bit. Has anyone tried it on 2008?

I couldn't get it to detect any networks on Server 2008.

Server OS do not allow for wireless adapters AT ALL.

Not true.

Wow, thats a long document.
Windows Zero Config is not included for server OS's.
Now 2008 may be different but I doubt it.

the wireless feature must be installed from the server console. Just installed the card today (with 64-bit Vista drivers) and it works fine now...

I wasn't aware that microsoft was allowing wireles adapters in their server OS's.
