Is that complicated to fix the DDNS excessive updating of the on the D-Link DNS-323. :o
These devices have been around for a while and still the bug that plagues the DDNS has not been fixed.
It doesn't matter the settings, when the DDNS is setup on D-Link devices it will constantly request updating of the IP address to a DDNS service, even thought the IP has not change.
What's the point to include the DDNS functionality, a feature that does not work and no one can use? :(
It should not be that difficult since other manufacturers have that feature working.

I've always wondered - why even put a DDNS client on a NAS - I use the one on my router.
The router is what leases the ip address, where better to detect the change and know that an update is needed?
