I have upgraded my firmware to 1.21. I need Access control to manage my network.
When I try to enter 11:00 pm to 5:00 AM I get an invalid time error. This used to work on the old firmware.
Is it just me or is this a problem with the firmware?

The scheduler has issues wrapping around Midnight. Make a rule from 11:00 PM - 12:00 AM and then another one from 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM and see if that works for you

This is a generic problem. All my routers through time (Tornado, Asus) have had this problem with 00:00.

Well Eddie
The probelm is worse than I thought. Try entering any start time between 1 am and 3 am and you get an error. This range is exactly the range of time I need to block.
In addition there are errors in the select machine phase of the wizard. At times it will not recognise that you have entered a machine.
Bottom line this needs fixing. It is inoperable the way it is.

report this in the beta code thread

Hi,
This issue is related to some of the others....I was using the 1.11MSBeta and was fine...then when I initially tried to update to 1.20 when it first came out...my access controls were snafu'd...but when I back dated to the MS1.11Beta again, they were fine... I posted a thread about thiscouple months back, altho the time issue was minor because the Access controls were messed.
I did see the Invalid Time error when I went to modify a control that wrapped around midnite... I had to break it up as suggested...but I went with 10:00 pm to 11:59 pm for schedule1 then 12:01 am to 10:30 am for schedule2. I had to create 2 access controls; one for each schedule referenced.
when I updated last week to 1.2105 Beta, they seemed to be fine....

You're absolutely right. Should not be too hard to fix since PM does work.

We're aware of the clock issue. I've reported it to PM to see if it can be corrected in the latest firmware.
